Yes, you read that right, knitted. I don’t knit. Well, I tried a few times and always find it laborious and slow. But I do like the even texture of knitted fabric. Not sure what made me buy some knitting needles this time, perhaps it was this cute and simple baby dress pattern I found on Ravelry. Or the fact that I already had the recommended worsted weight cotton yarn in my stash – DROPS Paris from Norwegian brand Garnstudio.

n pretty much everything my mum once taught me so I had to re-learn all the basics from YouTube… Literally a total novice. But there’s probably nothing worth knowing that you can’t learn on YouTube, so I managed it! My gauge was a bit all over the place, and the stockinette fabric isn’t as even as it probably should be, but still, ok effort I think considering I don’t knit!
